Carrom Tournament Guidelines & Rules

  1. Players take turns striking the carrom men using the striker.
  2. The first player will be decided through a coin toss or another fair method.
  3. The striker must be placed within the baseline and touch both lines.
  4. Each turn consists of one strike, which must hit at least one carrom man.
  5. Pocketing your own carrom man earns you an additional turn.
  6. If a player pockets an opponent's carrom man, it is removed from the board.
  7. Pocketing your own carrom man after the Queen has been pocketed counts, but does not grant an extra turn.
  8. After pocketing the Queen, a player must pocket one of their own carrom men on the next turn to cover it. Otherwise, the Queen is returned to the centre of the board.
  9. If a player pockets the Queen and successfully pockets their own carrom man in the same turn, they earn an additional turn.
  10. Fouls include failing to hit any carrom man, not striking from the baseline, or pocketing the striker. A foul ends the player's turn, and a previously pocketed carrom man must be returned to the board.
  11. The game continues until a player successfully pockets all their carrom men and covers the Queen.
  12. The player who successfully pockets all their carrom men and the Queen according to the game rules will be declared the winner.
